Believe you can and you’re halfway there. — Theodore Roosevelt
My passion for helping people began at a young age. Studying social work, counseling, psychology, and school counseling have allowed me to work with diverse populations from young children through older adults. As a therapist, I am the first to admit to being 100% human; I make mistakes, I fall down, I stumble, but most importantly, I keep going. If you need me to be I can be very direct, providing tools and strategies to help you get from point A to point B. I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Assertive Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Positive Psychology, Strengths-Based Approach, and Mindfulness Therapy.
It has been a joy to work with high school students, college students, and young professionals as a guide through difficult life transitions. I have experience working in crisis and residential settings with issues ranging from parenting, relationship distress, substance abuse, academic intervention, mood disorders, anxiety, paranoia, depression, and others. I consider myself to be your biggest fan; where you want to make changes, I will relentlessly encourage you, stand by you, and cheer you on!
