Specialties:
Chronic Illness & Disability & Loved Ones, Athletes & Performance Anxiety, Teens & College Students, Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions
Are you navigating a major life transition, adjusting to chronic illness or disability, or feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to perform? Maybe you’re starting college, entering adulthood, adapting to changes in your health or independence, or finding that anxiety and stress are showing up not only in your thoughts, but in your body. Therapy can be a space to better understand what you’re experiencing and build the confidence and skills to move forward.
I enjoy working with teens, college students, young adults, athletes, and adults navigating chronic illness or disability, life transitions, anxiety, depression and performance-related stress. For those living with ongoing health concerns, therapy can also provide space to process changes in your body, relationships, abilities, routines, and identity. For athletes and other high performers, our work may focus on performance anxiety, confidence, perfectionism, pressure, injury or setbacks, and staying grounded when expectations feel high.
My approach is collaborative and incorporates somatic and body-based strategies alongside traditional talk therapy. We may explore how stress and emotions show up physically, build greater awareness of your nervous system, and learn tools for grounding, regulation, and establishing safety within your body. Together, we’ll work toward helping you navigate change, communicate your needs, build resilience, and feel more confident and connected to yourself as you move toward what matters most to you.
We offer a free 15-minute phone consult to make sure we’re a good fit. Individual sessions are $200; we’re out-of-network and provide superbills for reimbursement, plus free benefits verification.
