Counseling does not have to be just for those with mental health disorders. I work with many different individuals going through transitions, hoping to improve their lives, and refocus their energy in a positive way. After the first appointment most of my clients have said “Wow, I feel better already!” Counseling is a way to improve your life, find your path, become more assertive, meet your goals, and improve your general outlook on life. As someone who entered the field of assisting people in bettering themselves and their lives, I take to heart the importance of my client's individual and unique needs and desires. I am very client focused and collectively find a course of treatment that is suitable to each person on a case by case basis. I believe the most imperative aspect to therapy is the connection that I have to my clients. Depending on what the client is looking for, I tend to focus on symptom management initially and then work towards improving other difficulties that are present.

I work with adults and couples who express having a variety of challenges. More specifically I often do individual therapy with those who are suffering from depression, anxiety, and life adjustments. Couples therapy is one of my passions and I strive to help couples work together and improve communication.

Although I specialize in anxiety and depression, I often see clients who have problems with anger, PTSD, and eating disorders as well. There are a variety of coping skills that I work on with my clients and also help them in changing their thought process.
