You used to feel like yourself. Then something shifted — a job that once lit you up, a friendship that doesn't fit the way it used to, a version of you that doesn't quite match your life anymore. You can't always name it, but you feel untethered, and a harsh inner voice has started asking whether you're the problem.
I work with adults moving through life transitions and identity shifts — at any age, not just your twenties. Many of my clients are deep feelers and people-pleasers: the ones who say yes when they mean no, who wonder "am I a bad friend?" when a relationship changes, who are realizing they've built a life around what they're supposed to want instead of what they actually do.
A lot of our work centers on values — not the tidy word-list version, but what those words really mean for you, and whether your daily life matches them. I draw most on ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), a practical approach that helps you stay grounded through hard feelings and take action that fits who you are — along with attachment work, CBT, and relaxation tools when they help. I don't follow one rigid playbook. I pay attention to what you need, and I'll check in often: is this landing? If something isn't working, please tell me — I'll never be offended, and there's always another way to go.
I've been in the client chair myself, and I know what it's like when therapy doesn't quite fit. That's exactly why I became a therapist — I wanted to be the clinician I couldn't find. With me, growth is meant to feel approachable, not overwhelming, and to move at a pace that's right for you. Most clients leave our work clearer about what they want and steadier in trusting themselves to get there.
If any of this sounds like where you are right now, I'd love to talk. Watch the video below to get a feel for how I work, then book a free 15-minute consultation — and if I'm not the right fit, I'll help you find someone who is. You decide what comes next.
Two of Lizzy’s focus areas have their own pages: therapy for high-achieving women and perfectionism therapy for teens and young adult women — if either sounds like you (or your daughter), start there.
We offer a free 15-minute phone consult to make sure we’re a good fit. Individual sessions are $200; we’re out-of-network and provide superbills for reimbursement, plus free benefits verification.
