Are you concerned that your memory is not what it used to be? Maybe you or a family member has recently been diagnosed with a memory disorder. As our bodies age, so do our brains; this is considered normal brain aging. I specialize in working with adults who want to be active participants in their brain health, including those who have a diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment and early stages of memory loss. Some changes, described as dementia, are changes beyond normal brain aging. I am fulfilled when working with families and care partners who are navigating the cognitive changes of a loved one. My interests lie in helping adults through life transitions, including depression, anxiety, stress and grief.
I believe in using evidence-based therapies to help improve brain health and navigate dementia care. As a person-centered, cognitive behavioralist, I believe in solution-based psychotherapy. Whether your goal is to improve brain health, reduce anxiety and depression or need tools to care for a loved one with dementia, together, we will chart a path forward.
Many families, including my own, have been touched by dementia. Through my experience in being a care partner, I have learned that compassion is a great gift and one I hope to share with you. Reach out to me to learn more about brain health, care partner support and how everyday life stressors impact us during our adult years.
Victoria’s specialties each have their own page: dementia & caregiver support, brain health & memory, and burnout therapy for healthcare workers.
We offer a free 15-minute phone consult to make sure we’re a good fit. Individual sessions are $200; we’re out-of-network and provide superbills for reimbursement, plus free benefits verification.
